Thursday 3rd: MUDBITCH / SPOOK OF THE THIRTEENTH LOCK / CAPTAIN A
“Mudbitch’s debut EP,Step In Bang Bang, is a hugely promising sign of a disco-doom aesthetic being created nowhere else in this country. Over the course of six tracks, from opener ‘Bugnance’, rapturous highlight ‘Traybakes’ and the riff-fuelled descent into the maelstrom that is ‘Crime Is Crime Is Crime’, Dominic McNamee’s masterful synth tangents and Mudbitch’s crazily eclectic noise betray hints of everything from Suicide, Wooden Shjips and synth-rockers Trans Am to create a swelling and comforting cacophony akin to PVT and Nick Cave jamming space-rockers Jessamine. Whatever you do, do not be put off by the name: these guys mean business.” Brian Coney AU

Friday 25th: BELFAST MUSIC CLUB vs. GO BANG!
We’ve finally recovered after last months banger with JD Twitch, and are pleased to announce that for our May party we’ll be going toe-to-toe with our good friends Sean Walshe and Claire Hall, aka Go Bang!
Go Bang! was originally spawned as an off-shoot of the ever popular Deformative parties, pairing up live acts with wicked dj sets that incorporated the best of NYC disco, Italo, Post-Punk, Synth Pop and EBM. They played host to the totally class Ital (100% Silk) on their first birthday and brought their night to a close earlier this year when they invited Belfast’s Sea Pinks to see them out in style.
We can’t wait to square off against them in a last-man standing encounter, it’s sure to be a night full of heavy hitters and knockout blows.
